I am a PhD candidate in Philosophy and an MA student in Greek at the University of Michigan, where I am advised by Victor Caston, Sarah Buss, and Chandra Sripada.
My primary research interests are in ancient Greek philosophy, moral psychology, and ethics. My current research draws on ancient Greek and contemporary philosophy to think about how emotions help us successfully navigate the world. I am also interested in artificial intelligence, social-political philosophy, and philosophy of mind.
Before coming to Michigan, I recieved an MA in Philosophy from Western Michigan University and a BA in Philosophy, Theology, and Theological Languages from Concordia University Wisconsin.
Some things I enjoy outside of philosophy include running, camping, cooking, playing chess, acting, singing, and watching sports.
